The Wanderer
"So, what business do we have with the Hearts exactly?" The Deva inquires, "Not looking to replace me I hope." He smiles. . . perhaps conspiratorially.

The Unlucky(diplomat) "Information mostly. One can never have to much information when entering business negotiations. And I have the feeling we will need all that we can get" the deva says absentmindedly, his brow wrinkled, as if deep in thought, his tea sitting largely unnoticed.

The Pale Songtress:
Carmella silently sips her wine while she listens to the two Deva talk, not missing a word of it. She gives Desmond a sly smile when he glances her way.
She wonders a bit how her boss is doing without her, but decides she really doesn't care. If he was in real need of her, he would send someone to fetch her.
The Dragon Kissed:
Zeke nods at Quel as he speaks out his plan. "That's as good of a plan as any.. I am sure you know this city better than I." He looks at Ned and Pierre. "You two can go, We will keep the map. I will find you once we have retrieved your sister."
He looks again at Quel. "Do you need to make any preperations before we head out?"
The Redscaled Crusader:
Meepo pops a piece of melon into her mouth as she looks about at all the adventures. The guy she had stole from yesterday was chatting with a homeless man. Looks like they were looking over a map.
A rather pretty lady is sitting next to two strange looking winged fellas. Meepo wasn't sure what they were called... Divas or something?
After a moment she speaks, addressing the rat still under her chair. "Anyones yous knows? Mes can sees lots of strongs peoples. Buts yous seems to be 'ooking for someones."

The Spellsword
Quel gestures to the steaming plates of food set out before him, "I can finish my breakfast first, eh?" He ashes his cigar and starts digging in.
The Scalechanger
The rat shakes its head. "I don't thee thadow thhoes."
The Wanderer
The Deva sets down his cup, "When do we leave then?"

The unlucky (diplomat) "As soon as you can be ready.I just need to grab my staff." the deva replies, focusing his attention on his friend.

The Dragon Kissed:
Zeke looks somewhat abashed when Quel asks if he can finish his breakfast. "Of course! I apologize.. I didn't mean it to seem like ..." His voice trails off, and he just sits quietly in his chair, drinking the coffee that the barwench left for him. Apparently he drinks it black.
The Redscale Crusader:
"Shadow 'oes?" Meepo asks, slightly amused by the term. "Do yous 'emember whats 'em upper 'alfs looks likes?" Meepo peers around the barroom, looking for anyone who might be nicknamed "shadow toes"
The Pale Songtress:
Carmella sighs softly as she bites into another strawberry when she hears the two Deva are leaving soon.
One would wonder if it is just because she will be losing her entertainment, or if it is because she would miss his company...
Nevertheless, all that the onlookers could do was guess, because there was no sign either way on her face. (Bluff +11)

The Scalechanger
"Black. . ." The rat squeaks, "Robeth and mathk."
The Spellsword
Quel makes conversation between mouthfuls of hot grits and sausage, "So, you're not from around here litle man?"
The Wanderer
The Deva leans down to heft up his longsword, shield, and cloak, "I can be ready now."
He turns to the pale lady as he stands, "Should I look for you here come nightfall, miss Snow?"

The Pale Songtress:
Carmella looks up at Desmond as he stands. "Of course. I'll be in this very stool." She smiles slyly, and looks over at Roland. "You return him in good condition, you hear?" She lightly chastises as she lets out a melodic laugh.
The Dragon Kissed:
Ezekial sips his coffee, speaking between sips. " No.. is it that obvious?" He looks slightly concerned. "Perhaps I should do a bit more... to try to blend in?"
the Redscaled Crusader:
" 'lacks robeses... and a masks? Whys 'hem 'lways in 'lack robeses?" Meepo says, somewhat despondantly as she continues to look at people. " No masks.. but plenty of 'lacks robese.."

The Spellsword
Quel sips his coffee and shakes his head, "You said I probably know the area better than you do," He comments, "That generally indicates someone's an out-of-towner."
The Scalechanger
"Any elveth?" The rat asks, "The mathk may be off."

The Unlucky (diplomat) "Excellent, then lets be on our way." The deva hurries off to his room and picks up his staff, then makes his way out to the front of the inn

The Wanderer
"Tonight then," The Deva says as he pulls his sailcloth cloak over his delicate wings, belting his longsword to his side. He winks before exiting the inn, following his charge.

The Giver of Sanctuary
It is at that moment that the kitchen door opens, and the hobgoblin bar-girl rushes in, over to Serina. "Kobolds! In the alleyway... in broad daylight! They took Bianca into the sewers... I barely got away myself!" The hobgoblin girl looks... terrified... and Serina's eyes widen. "Go get Elia." She turns to the room. "A halfling girl, under my protection, was just taken by the Whitescales. I will offer gold, and a permanent place of sanctuary within these walls, to any who helps to retrieve her." The hobgoblin is already obeying the innkeeper's words, making her way upstairs to tell Elia what has happened.
The Tower of the Heart
The contact - a tall, slender - for his race - goliath - stands with his hands on the table before him, speaking in the characteristic booming voice of his people. "No vampires that we've heard of. Kobolds, and refugees, and bandits far too close to the gates, and about four months ago someone was arrested for summoning demons, but no vampires."

The Spellsword
Quel slams down his empty coffee mug and rises to his full height, tugging his tarnished longsword out from under the table, "That's our cue, little man."
The Scalechanger
The rat scurries out from its place of hiding and sheds its skin. A troglodyte, short and scrawny for its race, with delicate white scales steps out, ragged cloak hanging over crude hide armor.
"I hope your word is good Therina," The creature hisses at it locks eyes with the inn's proprieter, "Thanctuary."

The Tower of the Heart
The goliath considers a moment. "The kobolds have some trained in primal magic... perhaps they could do that. Or perhaps not. Or perhaps there is something new going on... the City has more newcomers every day."
