The Wanderer
The Deva smiles to the pale woman appologetically, "Yes, I'm afraid."
He turns to his companion, "A glass won't knock me out, Roland," He says calmly, "Besides, this is a walled city. What could possibly happen here?"
He turns back to the pale woman, "Please forgive my rudeness miss Snow, this is my associate, Roland. Roland, this is miss Carmella Snow."

The Unlucky(diplomat) "A pleasure to meet you Miss," as the deva extends his hand, his silver wings stretching out, "I'm sorry if i seemed rude, I just worry to much I supposed."

Carmella turns to Roland, and smiles softly. "A pleasure, I am sure."
She takes another sip of her wine, before she speaks again. "This is his first glass, You can take my word on that." She looks to Desmond and smiles slyly. "And what is the harm in enjoying a bit of good company before having to attend to your duties?"

The Deva smiles, flashing those pearly whites once more, and asks in a tone perhaps more polite than his question, "And what exactly is it that you do for the merchant prince, miss Snow?"

".. I draw in customers. Help him sell his wares..." She says, purring slightly. "...Entertain his customers while they puruse his stock... I am quite the singer."

The blue deva, looking over the crowd, sights a dark, quiet corner. He orders a small tankard of rum, and moves over. As he sits down, he notices another figure at the table, completely cloaked. The deva offers him a smile as he sits down, drinking in silence.

The Wanderer
"A singer?" The Deva says as he takes a sip of his merlot, "Fascinating. . . I know few songs, truth be told. At least few that are fit for a lady's ears. Perhaps you could teach me a tune?"
The Scalechanger
At a nearby table, a rat crawls up, scurrying to where the eladrin woman keeps her ledger, putting pink paws upon the book and gazing at it, nose twitching.

Carmella smiles, her red eyes flashing slightly in the dim light. "For you, Desmond. Anything."
She closes her eyes and begins to hum, a few moments later she is singing a sad song about love lost at war. Her voice is captivating, perhaps drawing the attention of a few patrons sitting close by as she sings the song for Desmond.
If one listened closely, they could hear a noise that resembles chittering coming from inside Carmella's purse as she sings.

The Wanderer
The Deva listens to the tune for a few measures than attempts to join in round, his voice smooth if untrained. He closes his eyes a moment and lets his demeanor relax slightly, letting himself fade into a strange nostalgia.

The Glove: In the corner, the cloaked one, hearing the music, glances up, seeking out its source. Upon finding it, he beckons a bar wench closer, ordering an ale. When she brings it, he pulls his hood to cover his face better, obscuring even the mask. He then takes off the mask, and sipping his ale, observes the musician across the room, warily.

The Dragon Kissed:
The Empress's Pride's doors open once more, and a much shorter figure enters. A silvery blue cloak covers the form of a halfling perhaps? A gnome? Someone of that height at least, and slight of build.
The figure is holding his side, and limps slightly, and he looks around slightly lost. He hangs his head, and sighs. He finds an empty table and pulls himself up into a chair. He than pulls out a small kit from his backpack and attempts to bandage a wound on his side.
Any experienced healer could tell he was not doing an adequate job..

The Spellsword
Quel glances up the the cloaked form. "You alright, kid?" He asks, a hint of concern in his voice as he puffs out a smoke ring.

Elia, who had paused while the two began to sing in momentary appreciation of the song, takes note of the new arrival with a half-concealed glance and makes a show of finishing her wine, closing the book and wandering over to the delicate new arrival quite casually. Only when she slips into the chair beside him does she drop that casual abstraction, stripping off her delicate working gloves and reaching down to take the cloth in hand. "Like this."

When the song ends, she smiles at Desmond, looking very pleased. "You have heard the song before? It is an old Rabnean favorite. So tell me, Desmond...." She leans towards him slightly, holding her wine glass loosely in her hand.
"..What kind of work are you and Roland doing tomorrow?.. Anything of interest?" She asks, purring softly. (Diplomacy)

The Glove: "You might want to wander back over to your friend," whispers the cloaked man, taking a sip out of his cup, "You never know what might happen when alcohol is involved. The Unlucky (diplomat) Upon hearing this, he slips out of his seat, and heads over to the bar, ordering a new ale, and observing his friend.
