In the IC forum, I'll have three kinds of threads:
Sticky: These are the current "main" plot - the primary story arc of the campaign. I'm not planning on having anyone be involved in this all the time, or having anyone never be involved in it - this is just the path which leads most directly to the confrontation with the campaign's final foe. When levels are gained will be determined based on the stickied threads.
Normal: These threads are used for "side quests" - stories other than the main plot arc. Often, these will deal with other threats or powers than the main arc.
Locked: These are plot arcs that have been finished. Note that I'll leave main-arc threads stickied after the arc they deal with ends, but also lock them.
