Elia
Elia picks her way slowly toward the walkway, alert, her hand resting lightly on the hilt of her sword as she goes. "Watch your step, hmm? I don't think that looks like a pleasant place to swim."

On descent down the ladder, Elia finds that the water is subtly moving in ways other than the direct influence of the sewer's current... something is below the surface.

Keeping one hand free to draw her sword if needed, Elia watches the water, trying to pick out whatever is moving beneath it and signaling the others with a hand to direct their attention to it. [Perception +5]

The Redscaled Crusader
Meepo scurries up onto Maluth's shoulder, attempting to get away from whatever was in the water. "Mes thinks its hungries."
Perception+18, paying attention to the thing's movements and making sure Meepo stays well out of its reach. As well as looking around the room for anything that might hint about what that thing is.
